GSG provided design and construction management for the Village of Hinsdale’s $14.4 million street improvement program, covering 9.88 miles of roadway. Funded through local bonds, the project included roadway, utility, and drainage upgrades across North (5.38 mi) and South (4.5 mi) Infrastructure zones.

Scope of Services

• • Designed PCC and HMA street reconstructions and resurfacing
  • Planned watermain replacement (8″–12″) and lining of constrained segments
  • Developed new storm sewer systems and sanitary sewer repairs
  • Designed a detention vault to mitigate localized flooding
  • Created ADA-compliant sidewalk replacements per PROWAG standards
  • Prepared bid documents, quantities, and specs—including for brick-paved intersections
  • Secured IEPA permits and managed project bidding
