GSG completed a geotechnical investigation to support the reconstruction of Memorial Stadium’s south seating, the new 107,000 SF North Performance Center (NPC), and a new parking lot near the Indoor Practice Facility (IPF).

Scope of Services

• • Conducted site reconnaissance and drilled 16 borings:
    • 6 borings (90 ft) for stadium renovations
    • 7 borings (35 ft) for the NPC
    • 3 borings (15 ft) and 1 infiltration test for the parking lot
  • Performed laboratory testing to assess soil engineering properties
  • Conducted geotechnical analysis of field and lab data
  • Provided foundation and pavement design recommendations
