This project involves the construction of a new, single-story 12,000-square-foot fieldhouse at Kells Park. The modern facility will include a multi-purpose gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, and other recreational programs, complete with spectator bleachers. Additional features include club rooms for Chicago Park District activities, a fitness room, gym storage, a reception area, administrative offices, and public restrooms. The building will be constructed with a durable steel frame and masonry veneer exterior, designed to serve the community for years to come.

  • Conducted an independent investigation of existing underground utilities
  • Surveyed and marked approximately 0.25 miles of utility lines along N. Sawyer Ave., W. Chicago Ave., and N. Kedzie Ave., including lines servicing the park and adjacent building
  • Delivered accurate utility location data plotted on an AutoCAD base map for use in project planning and design
