CDA Combined Heat Exchangers
GSG conducted a hazardous building materials survey across multiple heat exchanger system locations at Chicago O’Hare, including terminals, concourses, tunnels, and mechanical rooms.
Scope of Services

- Surveyed for asbestos (ACM), lead-based paint (LBP), mold, PCBs, universal waste (UW), and chemical storage
- Performed site reconnaissance and documented material locations and quantities
- Collected bulk samples for NVLAP-certified lab analysis
- Used XRF analyzer to identify LBP
- Ensured all work complied with applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Delivered a detailed report with findings and disposal recommendations
