Assessment and Remediation

Our staff has evaluated and remediated hundreds of sites throughout the country including those with a long history of varied uses. This has lead to our expertise in numerous hazardous substances and a range of contaminant sources. We are experienced in managing environmental impacts associated with various manufacturing facilities, rail yards, military installations, vehicle and equipment maintenance facilities, manufactured gas plant (MGP) sites, and abandoned and licensed waste disposal sites.

Understanding that there may be many potential solutions toward remediation and/or site closure, we develop strategic solutions that are the most cost-effective way to meet our client’s objectives and ensure regulatory compliance. GSG has a proven track-record of obtaining contaminated site closure, having obtained “No Further Remediation” letters through the Illinois SRP for more than 50 sites.
